This work uses the Roppongi intersection—a bustling hub of people and cars in the heart of Tokyo—as its current location at this very moment.
A sign bearing the event’s name was created as a solo artwork and exhibited.
Together with another work, *Crossing Sign*, the theme is “movement” within urban space.
Current Location feat. Roppongi Art Night
This LED neon sign announces the event. The festive and flashy information provides a guide to the destination, an entrance to the festival, an invitation to enjoy art, and a record of arrival. On this fleeting night, under the powerful glow of this luminous sign, people will gather to feel both the infinite and the ephemeral within its loop of flashing lights.
人と車の行き交う東京の真ん中、六本木交差点を今この瞬間の現在地とした作品。
催事の名前の入った看板を個人作品として制作をし、展示された。
もう一つの作品『横断のための目印』と合わせて、都市空間おける「移動」がテーマとなっている。

イベントの開催を伝えるLEDのネオンサインです。祝祭感をまとった派手なインフォメーションは、目的地への誘導であり、祭りへの入口であり、芸術への招待であり、そのときここに到着した記録でもあります。うたかたの夜に力強く立ち上がった発光体のもと、人々が集まり、明滅のループの中で永遠と刹那を感じます。今ここは、六本木アートナイトです。
